  the reveal story (from the center of investigative reporting) about "jehovahs witnesses cover up child sex abuse and oust a victim" interview with the victims is airing on 300 radio programs starting august 1, 2013. .

  go to revealnews.org to find out what radio stations will be participating.

  i understand that the reveal interview will be heard at different times on different stations..

  JW EXPERT WITNESS FLOORED BY COMMISSION OF INQUIRY LAWYER

  much has already been written about dr monica applewhite, the expert witness hired by the jw organization.

  her job was to provide "expert" testimony to the australian commission of inquiry into jehovsh's witnesses' policies and practices on child sexual abuse.

  astonishingly, dr applewhite was unprepared for the inquiry lawyers' questions.

  What I have the feeling, that the WT is doing, is what it always does.

  • Says as much as it can, on as many points possible
  • The WT wants quotes.....
  • Can they pick the 'testimony' apart 10 years later and quote it?
  • "Oh, and Dr. Applewhite agreed that....."
  • "Notice that we quoted Dr. F"? We have psychologists behind us! (by the way, I am going to look Dr F up (haha) and see just what he is all about! Why is he so important to them? )

  I think they are trying to be creative. They can go back to the borganization and say:

  • "We were way ahead of our time."
  • "Dr A says that we are concerned with families"
  • "No other religious group was printing warnings and articles like we were"

  THAT is why they ignore the judge and repeat, repeat, repeat. They are mining for the perfect quote!

  "Ok, you've read the articles, have you looked beyond the read, and looked to see how they interpret them, what it means to them?" No, she hasn't. She answers like a lawyer. She is diversionary, just like the WT, she brings up a myriad of information, and starts taking you down the road, the long windy road. As if she knows, and she really has no clue of reality....

  Either that, or she is exceptionaly good at acting.... which is most likely why she is paid so well.
